Title: Honey Teiglah
Categories: Cookie Honey
Yield: 6 Servings

3 Eggs
1tsOil
1tsSugar
1pnSalt
1 1/2cFlour

Honey Syrup

3/4 c Light Honey 6 tb Sugar 1 ts Powdered Ginger 1 c Walnuts, chopped 3/4 c Coconut (optional) 8-(

Preheat oven to 375. Grease a cooky sheet with oil. For dough, whisk together eggs, oil, sugar and slat. Blend in flour to make a very soft dough. Turn out on a lightly floured board, adding just enough flour to make it possible to roll. With your hands, roll dough into long ropes or snakes about 1/2 inch wide. Pinch or cut off 1/2 inch pieces. Place all these little pieces onto cooky sheet. Bake, shaking sheet occasionally until dough puffs and is golden brown, (15 - 20 minutes). Meanwhile, heat honey and sugar together and boil very gently until just amber-coloured. Stir in ginger and nuts and baked cookies (teiglah), tossing to coat. Spread mixture out onto a lightly greased sheet, using wet hands to spread. Sprinkle with coconut (if you MUST use coconut 8-( ). Allow to harden and cut into bite sized pieces.
